About the Pension Cell
The PID Pension Cell facilitates retired employees of the Press Information Department and their families with pension processing, family pension cases, commutation, gratuity claims and related grievances.

- Processing of retirement pension cases
- Family pension on death of pensioner
- Commutation of pension
- Gratuity and leave-encashment claims
- Issuance of Last Pay Certificate (LPC) and Pension Payment Order (PPO)
- Verification of pensioner life-certificate
How to apply
Download the relevant form from the Downloads page, complete it with supporting documents, and submit either in person at the Pension Cell counter (Head Office, 1st Floor) or by post to the address below.
